Ok...I recently did the mini-me swap and I'm just not happy with the performance 100% so I'm going to dig into my b16a savings and buy a nitrous kit....question is which one should I go with....nitrous express, zex, nos, venom,jg edelbrock.....my friend ran zex and it was hella strong but I've also heard horror stories about it...should I go with a wet or dry shot.??? give me some opinions ...please...thanks...

i've heard of people having really good luck with a dry zex 50 shot. place the nitrous nozzle as far away from the throttle body as possible so the incoming nitrous will cool your intake, making more power.

cool.....I did a little research also and I think I'm going to go zex also......thanks

Yes it does but it pays off in the long run. IMO, a dry kit can be used up to a 60 shot safely. Any more and you would probaly want a wet shot.

Just to add my 2 cents.. we have tons of cars that run nitrous here.. the BEST kit that we have extensivally tested is the Nitrous Express kit.. The Genx-2 kit is in my opinion (and also throught dyno testing) is the best kit, that makes the power that it says (I haven't seen another kit that does, but not saying others don't), and we have NEVER had any problems with ANY part of the kit.. We've tryed all kits, and only sell what works best.. which is nitrous express.. and definitly go with a wet system over a dry system.. no matter what kit you go with.

Venom is expensive! 3 of my boys have Zex and they're pretty impress with it.

hey gunmenn whats your 1/4 mile time around? cause i have a d16y8 head in the garage and i was deciding between that or b16. if i go with the sohc then i will have enough money to kit the zex kit. and i am think that would tear up a b16. :)

my friend has a 5g si with the sohc vtec....i/h/e with a 75shot zex kit and he smoked a crx with a b16 swap.....and both are decent drivers...actually I'd like a b16 with N2O

I ran 15.4 at 93 mph on the bottle, dont swap just the head, do the whole z6/y8 swap. Its much nicer...

Whats worng with the mon wiper?
Make sure the pirll stays in the line when you hook up yor nitrous or it wqon't be pretty. I guy that i work with just blew his head gasket cuase when he hooked up the nitrous the pill dropped out. Ever seen what happens to a H22a after what msut be 225 shot hits the engine?

depends on what he means by monowiper conversion. Either he took the drivers side arm off and stuck the pass side up crooked, or he rigged it up so it goes all the way like in these pics

Hi! - I am an N/A guy so I have no clue what the difference is between a wet and dry kit?
Actually - I am not only a N/A guy, but a stock N/A guy at that - lol;) - that will change soon enough tho...Starting to make plans to actually complete the ZC swap :sun:
My current set back is my "loaner car" (from the old-man) has a bad whell bearing...so I gotta fix that first so I can get to work during my swap

A wet kit adds nitrous and extra fuel together while the dry adds just the nitrous while relying on an outside source for extra fuel.
