Windstar ignition switch actuator

How do you replace the ignition switch actuator on a ford windstar with tilt steering?

Are you talking about the rod between the key cylinder and electrical switch? If it's anything like a 2nd generation Taurus, forget it. It was far easier to replace the entire column and swap everything over, at least in my experience.
