wheel spacers on 03 impala LS

EDIT: i meant ADAPTERS...not spacers.
I purchased an 03 impala on monday and I recently realized they used the 5x115 bolt pattern....and i own a 91 crown that i had 20x8.5 rims on with a +34 offset on them, the tires are 255/35/20....which caused me to use some 1/4 inch spacers to fit on the 2 front wheels.....
anyways
the rims are "player 712" models and they have a 5x114.5 (5x4.5) bolt pattern
so i recently ordered some 1inch minimal thick wheel adapters so i can bypass the pattern issue....BUT, i dont know a whole lot about wheel adapters....
my main concern is should i expect any rubbing issues? I can live with the wheels possibly poking out slightly and it seems i have room in the well....but like i said, i dont know too much about this stuff, so i was hoping that someone out here had any experience with adapters on an 03 impala and can maybe give me an idea of what to expect before the parts arrive...
