2004 Base Model.
I am about to replace my second passenger wiper arm.. that's right, that would make this new one my THIRD passenger wiper arm. the arm breaks below the pivot always when it's being used.
Has anyone else had this Issue? :screwy:
also I have the famous vibration/clicking/shuttering feeeling in the when when I make Left turns or hit the brakes some times. I have had a few people tell me this happened to theirs (01-04) as well. Do we know what the cause is?
I also had the famous Amp wire connection gone wrong, fixed that yesterday, and today i'm going to be pro-active and check the blower motor seal under the wiper.
anything else I need to do to prevent hating this car more than I already do.

aww common man, it's an impala. You can't hate it...
Make sure that your wiper isn't going down too low when the wipers are off. If they are, loosen the adjustment bolt on the pivot point, and set the wiper to its proper place, and tighten the adjustment bolt.
I just read your post again and your wiper arm is busting at the pivot? That must mean you're tightening the bolt too much man. I've never had this problem before... Maybe you have the wrong bolt on there because someone changed them before you.
