99 Windstar problems after isolator bolt fixes

It all started with the water line under the intake leaking. It was recommended that isolator bolts and intake gaskets be replaced. I replaced these as well as plugs and wires since I had everything apart. Now with everything back together engine runs but idles rough. No power at all once you take off and tac jumps around inconsistently. Also hearing a thumping noise every once in a while on passengers side. Had no engine problems previously any ideals. Thanks

Hi

Keeping it simple, my first thought would be to check for loose/disconnected vacuum lines. Not hard to miss one on the back of the plenum.

Good luck

dust2000,

Agree with "bus" check your vaccum lines. I did the fix last week and one of the lines fell off after I reconnected it. Also, check to make sure your wires for the plugs aren't crossed. I did that as well.
