2002 Impala Brake Lights

I have a 2002 Chevy Impala that the brake lights have stopped working on. That includes the 3rd Brake light. The turn signals and flashers work. Backup lights work. Tail Lights work. Brake Light Switch Checks out good. I plugged a new Turn Signal Switch unit in without actually installing it in the collumn and it did not change a thing. Fuses are good. Does Anyone have any ideas.

Check for a blown fuse. There should be a stop lamp fuse in one of the fuse boxes. If fuse is good then check for 12 volts at the input pin A/C1 of the brake light/cruise control disable switch or at one side of the stop lamp fuse socket. The 12 volts is present at all times regardless of whether the ignition switch is ON or OFF.

The fuse for the stop lamps lights up on both sides, only with key on. I believe there is nothing wrong there. As far as down by the switch, there are two different switches that the brake paedal arm hits. One has only two brown wires going into it, one has power all the time and the other only gets power when the pedal is pushed. As far as the other switch, there are two different wire harnesses that plug into that, one harness has 4 wires going in that all have power, the other harness has two wires (orange and white) neither of these power up at any time. Which of these switches in the brake light switch and which is the cruise switch?

OK, no power at Orange. What would kill my power to that wire? Power at fuse, so what is between the two?
