How do you replace the license plate lights on a 2001 Sable sedan?

Just an FYI for anyone. Most of the Ford owners manuals are available online going back ten years. Just go to Ford's genuine parts & service at
http://www.genuineservice.com/genuineservice/en/default?page=Home
and click on the owner guides link on the left side middle of the screen to start your selection criteria for year, make and model.

It says on page 199:
1. Remove two screws, grommets and the license plate lamp assembly from the trunk lid.
2. Carefully pull the bulb from the socket and push in the new bulb.
3. Install the lamp asembly on trunk lid with two grommets, ensuring the grommets are pushed all the way in to the trunk lid and secure with two screws.
