Well, if you saying ricers, then i agree. American muscle will dominate over that almost any day of the week. Also, yes, completely modded, a pro stock V8 will destroy a pro class import. But you have to realize also, that just like in muscle cars, us import guys that are serious about the sport are deserve just as much credit and respect as you guys do. My civic has no body kit or huge not functional rims or crazy lighting. My car looks stock. My car also runs low 11sec passes and by the end of this season should see low 10's possibly a 9sec pass. Full interior, street legal car. I love going out and watching the muscle cars at the track with my dad. I'm into both sides, i just can't afford the insurance nor gas for a V8 so I work with what I can. Also, I don't lose to to many muscle cars out there. My only defeat came on by a guy with a 2003 cobra that took off infront of me. Very fast car though. But you guys also have some "domestic rice" or should we call in white bread in your car field also, i'm white, so don't get upset. I have seen more than my share of mustangs with GT-R emblems and stupid decals(not factory). We are not all rice, we enjoy cars and working on them just as much as you guys do.

$2000 early 240sx
+$2500 complete redtop SR20det w/o FMIC
+$8000 induction, exhaust, turbo upgrade, boost controller,
forged internals, big FMIC, clutch
=$12500 vehicle with 380+ hp at the wheels, a bottom end that can
handle twice that, excellent handling (inherent) and
emissions safe enough for california ($15K if you dont
want to do the work yourself)
It would run low 12s.
Therefore, please do NOT associate civics with all kinds of imports. In fact, civics are probably THE most expensive imports to modify.

i don't really say they are the MOST expensive. with 12k, you could have a civic hatchback runnin 12's. b20vtec with a simple turbo set-up will put you at low 13's. little more, and you are into the 12's. i don't really think you can say WHICH is the most expensive, it really jus comes down to wut u want to drive every day.
