yeah my dad and i went to test drive one today and i really liked it, i havent tested an accord coupe (which my dad really likes) yet but we will see

do you think it would be a good choice to get a manual 1st becasue it is a grand cheaper and 2nd to learn how to drive one so i dont have to do it later??
definetly get the stick its alot more fun to drive.... i also think its a plus when it comes to gas.... i first learned how to drive a stick at about six, my dad had a 1987 saab 900 turbo 5 spd and he used to tell me to watch his feet and switch the gears.you also have to develope an attention span for it

i dont think there is a big chance of any skyline owner givin up there car without a fat sack of chips.....

Im gonna tell you right now, don't get an RX-8. They are great cars but you arent ready for it. Reason why I say this is because it's not the fastest street car and you will get beat by numerous cars from a stop light, BUT and this is a big but, we're talking J-Lo big here, the car is amazing in an autocross or road course. But normal everyday driving you cant take full advantage of it. This is one of those cars that you have to know how to appreciate it and know what it is before you buy it, you can't just buy it out of impulse cause you wont be happy with it. It's not easy to mod cause bolt ons do nothing, some intakes make you lose power and full exhausts only add about 5-6 extra horses if youre lucky.

Please stop with the nonsense on these forums...

Now, if you want my real advice on what to get, then regardless of what budget you are working with, get the 3... It will be more than enough as a first car (My first E36 M3 was WAYYYYY over my head, thank to God that I could control myself...)
The 3 will be a great car to get around in, and won't burn a hole in your walet... Whatever is left of the 25,000 put away for college...
Don't bother trying to upgrade the car you get, because it will become uncontrolable faster than you can imagine...
And the last thing we want is to hear you have gotten into an accident, and that we contributed on this forum and suggested you get a fast car, or decently fast and make it even faster...
