Need opinions

Ok guys, I need some help. I really want to buy a rocket, and my plan was to get my car paid off in about a year and a half and then buy a rocket next year. Well I got to thinking and I really need a winter vehicle because my car is horrible and if I buy a bike that doesnt do me any good in the winter.

Problem is I can't afford to have three vehicles, so I'm thinking about putting the SRT up for sale and tying to make some money and then getting like a 01 jeep cherokee or something and then buying a rocket. I can't decide if I can part with it or not because I know I will miss it, but I'm thinking a rocket will fill the void and offer alot more speed and just as much fun.

If I do list the neon I'll probably put about $20k on it(04 with 14k miles) and if I get any takers I do, if not then I guess I either lower the price or keep it.

What do you guys think?

Sounds like a good plan to me. SRT4's can be pretty sweet, but I am not much for FWD. I wouldnt necessarily get a Jeep, you ought to get something atleast decent gas milage. I would personally get a Outback or something, or whats that 4 door AWD Scoobie? Thats what I would get if I was you. Or hell, if you really wanted a SUV, I would absolutely recommend a Honda CRV. IIRC, my mom has been getting like 22 city and 28-30 highway in hers. Its comfortable as hell, handles great for a SUV, and its pretty quick compared to her old (and more hp by the way) Rendezvous.

hes trying to get something for the winter, therefore a suv would be best.

winter beater +dsm = cheaoer then srt4

So I decided that no matter how much I want a bike I cant part with the car. I love having a fast car(that doesnt break everytime I do a pull like a DSM lol) so I'm thinking about trying to find a $200 winter beater and paying off my car and getting a bike next summer

Damn son, what year? My moms is the newest style (07 I believe) and it handles almost as good as my Cavy and the Cavy is lowered on some pretty stiff suspension and the 17's have pretty stiff sidewalls.

I vote against getting the crotch rocket until you can actually afford it. I've always thought crotch rockets were cool. But my buddy has had 2 and he said its cool for a while but it gets old fast..."just a bunch of poppin wheelies and spinnin tires"....as he says. I don't know though I've never had one, but like i said I just vote against it until you can actually afford it.

I can afford to get one right now if I really wanted, I just have a thing about getting one before I have my car paid off. I'm making double payments on my car and still have plenty of money left for whatever. Its kind of nice being able to work full time and living at home with nothing to spend your money on buy your car:icon16:

Ya the Evo solves both problems fast car and good in the snow. My GSX is amazing in the snow as long as its not more than 6 inces deep. i would have to believe that with all the electronics the evo would be even better
