Disconnection of daytime driving lamps DRL

Anyone know of an easy way to disconnect the daytime driving lamps DRL,on a 05 impala?,when you take out the fuse under the hood they stay on but are very dim looking as if they have a bad ground?

Anyone know of an easy way to disconnect the daytime driving lamps DRL,on a 05 impala?,when you take out the fuse under the hood they stay on but are very dim looking as if they have a bad ground?I just removed the relay for theDRL lamps under the hood and they are now disconnected.
