DYI project?
My flex member, located under the powertrain assembly- post manifold, is leaking. Any one have any suggestions on how to repair, or replace it with an aftermarket flex-pipe? If need be, can it be cut with a cutter wheel? [not much working room under there]

universal replacements are availible, but a direct fit replacement is your best bet. contact your local dealership for the part. it should be bolt-in, no cuting needed, assuming the bolts aren't completely seized. then a oxy-acidiline torch is need. at less try a propane torch to heat the bolt and break loose easilier. air tools are also recommended because of the rust and tight spaces(namely where the downpipe connects to the manifold)

It's a dirty job, but yes, it's a DIY job with a cutter wheel, perhaps an air chisel, a lot of rust pentrant and patience. Make sure you wear goggles--that's rust can really damage your peepers.
