Can't do it myself, no time. Gonna take it to a mech. How much should I expect to pay??LOL!
95 Windstar, blown head gasket.
P.S. The mech. said the upper amd lower rad. hoses would be $145. Is it just me or is that a God awful ammount for some friggin' rubber hose?? WTF
talked to the mech. and he said 850 for labor. I didn't thinmk it was THAT hard!! Any thoughts greatly appreciated!!

For my 1996, Alldatadiy.com lists the standard repair time for both sides, at 10.8 hours, add 0.2 hours if you have A/C.
I would guess that the '95 will be close.
Take that times the hourly rate that your shop charges........
Upper and lower hoses (again for my '96....all I have access to) dealer list about $45 total, plus standard time of 1 hour.

The quotes that I got a cpuople of years back were $2K plus. I did it my self with craftsman tools in my driveway, but it's a big job. Also I am not a mechanic by trade, but have done sebveral rebuilds and untold repairs (have never paid for a repair) myself, so some underhood experience is a must.
Also the heads MUST be sent out to get machined and checked for cracks.
Good luck.:)
