2002 Impala Security/door locks

I have a 2002 Impala 3.8 v6 with about 90000miles. A few weeks ago the security light on the dash came one one night and the car wouldnt start for a minute and the radio said locked. I waited a few minutes and the car started. I thought no big deal. But then the next day I noticed that the security light on the dash was staying on. I have had no problems starting the car but the automatic door locks have stopped working with either the key fob or the the button. Also I have noticed a several times that the dinging that lets you know the key is in the ignition when the door is open will stay on after I take the key out. I have to put the key back in, turn it and take it out for the dinging to stop. The only thing that I think could have caused a problem is that I programmed a key fob to my car but the the gm/lear numbers were different. Any help advice would be appreciated, no power door locks kinda sucks no that i am used to it. Also I have tested every possible fuse there is and they all work. Thanks for your time.
