Hello All,
Thanks for trying to help!
I have a 2000 Windstar that I can’t take off the arm rest. Is there a special tool or is there a special way to remove it?
Thanks!

ON the side of the armrest you have a plastic cap that you have to remove.
Take care for no breaking it. Under that cap, you have a kind of steel washer with a hole in it. Take a long nose pliers and slip the steel washer out of the arm rest. Then you will see a torx bolt T40 or T50 that you will unscrew and make your armrest removed from the seat.

The armrest on this one has no plastic cap on the side. It is completely covered.

Yes I'm wrong, I think this apply for a 1999 model.
OK raise the armrest to the upright position. Going by the front of the seat,
push the leather or material ( where the mechanism is) and you will see a little white clip with a tab; with a small screwdriver remove this clip and after, just slip the armrest from the mecanism. To re-install, install the clip, and slip the armrest in his regular position.
