if just one light is out then just the blub needs replaced. i've only taken apart the frist gen dashboards, but i'll try to guide you through it, first, buy some bulbs. the size should be 73, double check in your owners manual, not all part store will carry this size, only the better stocked ones, one store i've been to didn't display them, only had them behind the counter. i suggest buying a handfull of them(you never know, they are small and easy to lose) on top of the dash there should be two small covers, pop them off with a screwdriver, remove the bolts/srcew underneth. then use the screwdriver or a small prybar to pry the top of the dash up on the edge closest to the seats. once all the clips there are released you should be able to pull the whole top of dash towards you, it will take a good tug because there are three more clips, more like slots, holding the front in place. with the top off you should be able the back of the gauges, and scattered around small plastic holders, twist to remove them and you have your bulb, IIRC you shouldn't need to remove the gauges or the trim around it. reverse to reassembile. lining up the slots in the front will be the bigest pain.
