98 Sable - Difficulty with power steering and accessories

Had my used Sable for about a year now and had pretty much no problems until now... and it is a bit of a weird one. When the car is in park or neutral everything works fine, but in drive or reverse it has lots of trouble. The speakers stop working completely - while all of the buttons still work on the stereo system no music plays. The power windows won't go up or down either, and the windshield wipers won't work on some settings. As for the power steering, after driving for ten minutes or so it seems like I lose the power steering - but as soon as the car is put back in park or neutral the steering works fine.

The problems all seem related, because all four things work perfectly in drive or neutral. The power steering is what I'm chiefly concerned with though, the other problems aren't nearly as irritating. We've looked at the power steering pump, replaced the serpentine belt, looked at everything possible that could be wrong with the steering - without avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as we're pretty much stumped.

I am having the exact same issue with my 96 GS wagon.. I'll post back if I figure out a solution. Let me know your progress too.

Do you also notice that your Fasten Seatbelt light goes on when the power steering/windows/windshield wipers goes in or out? Those three seem to be completely connected, while the speakers come and go on their own.
