This may not be restricted to windstar.
The headlight lenses are dull and yellowish. I believe they are made of plastic. I am thinking of getting some plastic polisher. Does anyone tried one of those products and had good results? if you have a favorit one, let me know.

i've heard that whatever results you get are temporary. since the UV resistance is shot, it will get worse and worse.

My favorite is tooth paste! For real, it works and with good results. Anyone will do, but I prefer the standard white stuff (no frills). Give it a try and see for your self, what do you have to loose- 25cents worth of paste. Just dab it on a piece of cloth and scrub away, a little elbow grease and presto. If it doesn't work then go ahead and buy the professional stuff.
If the stain is on the inside of the lens then don't bother.
