2003 Impala PO742 code

My 2003 impala 3.4 started to buck at the first trans gear then again at the second gear my check engine light came on code came up po742 torque converter stuck on, probable cause TCC solenoid...my question is how do i change the TCC solenoid ? there is no mention of it in the haynes manual...thanks bobbyboy-g

It is mounted in the trans side cover, axle must come out, you may have to drop the subframe to get the side cover off also.

unless your a serious DIYer you probably don't want to take this one on. As Max stated you will have to drop the sub frame
