The same stuff the dealer has in a small little bottle that uses a brush works well. Its color match with clear coat mixed in. If you know how to wet sand you can smooth it out to near perfect.. I plan to post some pics when i get through with mine. Just when you sand you got to be very careful.. Once i get some time I will post my job I had to pratice on the old car a while back and it turned out great. So I will be doing the Windstar soon..The other part is after you wet sand you will have to buff it a little to get the haze from the wetsanding out.

Well keep in mind not to sand whats good. But yes alot times you will need to sand a little before painting but with regular sand paper or if the scratch in very thin,I have used a needle. to clean out the scratched area. But wet sanding is very tricky if you dont take your time plus you will need low ebrasive sand paper to do this. About 1000 grit. Use a spray bottle of soapy water, wet the area and sand after your paint has dried or cured enough.. What that does is levels off the paint that built up above the already painted suface..
