2002 Windstar Door Key Lock Repair

The key lock on the drivers door was damaged (a thief used some kind of tool on it). I've taken the door handle apart and removed the lock housing and cylinder. The damaged part was the chrome ring that holds the cylinder inside the housing. Are there lock repair kits available? Can I just replace the entire lock assembly? I don't care if I end up with an extra key different from the ignition and liftgate lock as I rarely if ever use a key to unlock the vehicle.
