1995 Mercury Mystique
2.5 Liter V6
Build 1/95
I have been having a problem with the speedometer bouncing around & then quit working. After doing some reading on here found it was probably the VSS sensor. Ordered a sensor & went to replace it this weekend & the found this car has a speedometer cable and it is broken just before it goes through the firewall. Went to the local autozone to get one & the guy there couldn't believe it had a cable, but none the less, they didn't have one. My questions are, not only were to get one, by how hard is it to replace the cable.
Is it a one piece cable from the gauge to the VSS or is it a two piece cable?
