My car has 33,000 miles on it. It is an 04 ls. My gm bumper to bumper warranty is going to be up in 3,000 miles.
Things i have had them fix, Oil pan gasket, Rear main seal, Lower intake gasket, Trans lines, Recall, Turn the rotors, Engine frame cam loose, And just this week THE MOTOR BLEW up.
Whats my best bet for an extended warranty? So i go with gm? IS warranty direct a good company??? They have a 4 year 100,000 mile plan for 1200$
Any advice whould be great, thanks in advance...

I'd try a new car before I'd buy a warranty for that lemon. Also, I'd try to take better care of the new one.....

Thanks for not helping me with my question at all.
#1 I don't want to spend another 23,000 I'd rather buy a warranty.1-2k and that would give me another 70,000 miles of protection
What do you mean by take better care of it? Is there mant. you can do on the seals, like the oil pan gasket? Or maybe i could have took ofo the intake and mant. that seal? The motor blew because of a bad part, or the last chevy dealer messed something up when they did the intake gasket.
WHY WOULD I BUY ANOTHER NEW CAR WHEN I HAVE HAD SO MANY PROBLEMS ALREADY THAT WOULD BE DUMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would go with the GM warranty. You should only look at the MajorGuard level warranty. The GM warranty is good at any GM dealer in North America. Aftermarket warranties are not accepted everywhere, sometimes you may have to pay for a repair and then get reimbursed from the warranty directly. The GM warranty is much easier and covers more with less restrictions. With a transmission going for $3000, an engine for $5000 and some electronics running $1000, an extended warranty can pay for it's self with 1 use.
