Please help Jatpapa....

I have a 1996 Windstar

It has an off the market alarm system which worked fine till today.

Now I don't hear and *beep**beep* when i turn the alarm on or off but the flashing lights still flash. The headlights still flash when i turn the alarm on or off.

The Red blinking light in the car still flashes and blinks, but there is no *beep**beep*...

Can someone help me, what could be wrong with my car??
How can I get it to *beep**beep* again?!?!?!?!?

How can I get it to *beep**beep* again?!?!?!?!?Is the beeps usually come from the horn of the car or from the alarm system (siren etc)?
If the system use the horn of the van, did you check the operation of this horn (when you press the horn sign on your steering wheel)? If you have no result, It could be a fuse or the horn relay.

Did you try to open a door while the alarm system is on to see if the alarm goes on with sound? I do suppose the alarm system is still working if the red light is blinking.

Now if the alarm system use his own beeper or siren, this could be defect, or disconnected. If you are not sure, maybe you have the book or the indication of this aftermarket alarm system and sometime you have a troubleshouting guide to trace a malfonction.

Thanks Catvents, The van horn works, the lights blink when i turn the alarm on and off. It does not sound the horn when i open the doors with alarm on but the lights keep on blinking. I did take a visual but found alll the wires attached. I willl check the fuses .
