That's right, post pictures of your house from the outside, and then pictures of your room!
The outside pictures I took are right crappy right now cause it's 10:30 and dark, I'll take some better day ones tomorrow. You can also see my room, and yes, I know I'm a slob :)

Well heres my humble lego land flat.
My room is the one beside the Garage. And yes that is my mighty shopping cart in the Driveway. (we have a double garage but its used to dry our washing)
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/837296theflat.jpg
And heres my Room. Its a bit smaller than Heeps, but my TV is bigger :D and I think I make better use of the space. (its also cleaner, and theres no 2 day old dinner plates lying around, or old fast food containers :p )

I like my bed!!!! It has a cheapo wharehouse bed set on it at the moment, and the one it came with looks a LOT better!

Well all the houses around here look pretty much the same, and all definitly follow the same basic layout. Its to attract the laqrge asian migrant population we have living in the area. For example all the houses have huge out of proportian archs over the frount door, something many Aisans like. Our house only has a small one, hence why 4 whities live in it. :D
It makes for some very interesting arcitecture and grandiouse exageration is mixed with simple easy to build to attract home buyers, and at the same time keep building costs down. The path up to the frount door as an extension of the driveway is just another one of those make it look flash while doing it on the cheap ideas, and I think every house on the street has one.
And the Galant belongs to one of my flat mates, it norrmaly lives on the road as its not worthy of a spot in the drive. Its only a 1.8l SOHC single carb cheapo version. Its also a bit of a wreck, but I never said that!

Haha, right on. Shadowboy and I were discussing cars (ie Radical SR3) that can beat a race bike on a track, in this case by 3.1 seconds...
I need to get the new issue with the Focus RS....
I'd get a subscription, but it works out to be like $80 a year

Durning the christmas holidays I will finally get round to gib stopping the walls and then slap a coat of paint over the walls (RIP current "wallpaper") and then proper carpet

TRUST ME - you really don't want to see a picture of my pad. I think I still haven't found and cleaned all the puke from that infamous night in January when I posted while obliterated. Pman, when was your house built? I'm guessing 1940's-ish? I love the style of it.
I don't have a digi-cam myself, but if I did you still wouldn't want to see my place.
I have a 400 sq. ft. studio, and it's not particularly filthy, it's just CROWDED. Here's what's inside:
Bed
Dresser
Desk (about 5 feet of desk)
3 guitars
3 chairs
Drop-leaf table
Computer desk
Full-size leather couch
Leather loveseat
Full-size electronic piano with 88 weighted keys
Miscellaneous smaller bookshelves, 4 of them
About 12 moving boxes that I haven't unpacked because there isn't room
1 sewing machine, 1 serger
1 entire kitchen
1 entire bathroom
And a whole bunch of other miscellaneous crap.
Right now everything is stacked on top of each other and two layers deep - I need to either move somewhere larger or throw away half of it before x-mas or I'm really in trouble.

1 entire kitchen
1 entire bathroom
And a whole bunch of other miscellaneous crap.
Right now everything is stacked on top of each other and two layers deep - I need to either move somewhere larger or throw away half of it before x-mas or I'm really in trouble.

Heres a inside shot of the condo in Petoskey. Poor quality and my cat is giving you the evil eye. The car thread I am about to post shows a bit of the house in Lansing.

My house from the outside
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/287098Dscn0330.jpg
My sleeping quaters (The only explanation for the two teddy bears and the penguin is- My mum loves antique stores- I have to put up with antiques - there are a whole lot of NZ Performance car posters as well- as well as a Lego Technic car I built back in 4th form and some matchbox Premier Editions on the the window sill. and a host of confetti on my bed from when I unpacked.
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/925974Dscn0331.jpg
My desk, a gh3y computer that doesn't work, my gh3y Casette player that doesn't work, my shelf, about 10 million Matchbox/Hot Wheels cars and 85% of my diecast collection as well as my infamous NSX, a tissue box, CD Walkman and a few CD's- and one or 2 school books
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/277964Dscn0332.jpg
And finally my dresser, more matchbox cars, the Technic models that are worth having there, a can of deoderant and a Chevy Impala Taxi Cap as well as Peugeot and Hyundai WRC posters
http://files.automotiveforums.com/uploads/991146Dscn0333.jpg
So I know my room is nothing spectacular, but I am shifting room soon, plus my parents are going to get me a double bed, PS2+ TV, Mini-system and the Computer from in the Study when I move into the new room, so there is still a glimpse of tope for the Moss Monster :finger:

Lotus- LOL!!!!!! It keeps the crims out though- however- they serve very little purpose in a tiny private drive- where no-one can cause any trouble without getting seen by like 10 neighbours.
Snowie-Blame my shitty photo-editing program for that:finger:
DVS- Nice pad :D But did you just buy your lounge Suite - Or is the plastic there to keep it clean :)

Moppie kinda got it, and the rest of you are cold.:D
It's more of a clean thing than anything else. You see, I would hate to get the old "Oops, get a bounty quick" excuse. Plus my wifey's sister has a child that is always eating something and sitting on the sofa chairs. Now I know about the whole scotchguard thing, but I don't want to be bothered with the whole respraying after it wears out. Trust me though, when I buy my own house, the plastic will come off.:D

Reminds me of the pad I house-sat in Sydney a couple of years ago.
It was a really lovely place, right next to the beach, a stone's throw from Bathers Pavilion (awesome restaurant) but had this white/cream/ivory silver theme in the decor.
I nearly had a cardiac arrest when we came back from the pub one night and someone decided to eat jalapeno salsa and nachos in the lounge while I was busy..... errr.... let's say walking down the moonlit beach with a friend.
When I got back to the pad I nearly shat myself as the owner would have come back and she'd have had my balls as her key-ring accessory if the salsa had stained her new couch.

Haha..the magazines strewn within arms length of the bed reminds me of home! Back home the floor within arms length of my bed is absolutely covered in about 2 feet of magazines, that's all I do after 10 PM :D
