It's painted like that. It's really cool, my sister did that, and whenever anyone walks into the house for the first time, it's the first thing they comment on.

It's a yellowish base with an dark orange color sponged over it. Gives the room alot of texture and a nice warm feel to it...

I think it's because the walls look red in the pictures. It looks like they used to be orange and then someone smeared blood all over them..I guess the color isn't showing accurately.
The house itself reminds me a little of the Amityville Horror house. And the basement looks like a basement, which is scary.

Overall I think it looks very cool. And I really like your dining chairs.
