where should i place my floor jack on my 99 Saturn sl2 without damaging the car?

if in the front, place it under the frame rail. if in the rear, place it in the pinch weld of the rocker panel. this is out of the owners manual:
<LI type=1>Position the lift head at the jack location nearest the flat tire. Saturn vehicles do not have jack notches. Position the jack close to the wheel opening, but make sure all of the jack's lift head is touching the jacking flange under the body. Do not place the jack under a body panel.

Notice: Make sure that the jack lift head is in the correct position or you may damage your vehicle. this illustration tells you to use the pinch weld in the front, but you can also use the frame .
