just curious to see if anyone has upgraded their suspension and to see what they have done. I have a '00 LS with 131k and the lower control arm bushings are gone. I also ran over a paint can that fell off a truck and bent a trailing arm. I'm thinking about stepping up to the GMPP stuff but can't decide if it will be that much better. any insight???

Normally trailing arms are beefed up to prevent "axle wrap-up" on rear drive vehicles, not sure how much beefed up trailing arms will help your front drive car.

I know what you mean but for some odd reason gmpp offers a tubular trailing arm that is supposedly lighter and stronger than factory u-channel arms. If I'm not mistaking its the same trailing arms that are on police models.
