Dudes,
I'm about to get a promotion at work and this means more money, so I am looking at a way to spend it.
I have a ZC in the car now and I am considering RE-building it for Forced induction.
OR
a Build a B18a and Force induct that. Means more money but hey... I know the B18 has better aftermarket support than the ZC.
Please speck out parts I would need to build a Bulletproof Turboed B18 with about 300Hp to the wheels.

As much as I love my ZC i would never think of rebuilding it. ZCs are a dime a dozen. If you want to build a motor for forced induction build the LS motor.

yeah i would build the b18a, its harder to find parts for the zc.
to build a bulletproof engine, this is what i would get :
block :
crower rods
je pistons
ductile iron sleeves
have the block decked
crank knifedged and polished
block blanced and blueprinted
racing oil pump
racing oil pan, turbo ready
head :
port polish
valves
valve springs
titanium retainers
turbo cam
adjustable cam gears
hi flow intake mani
bored out throttle body
bigger injectors
fuel rail
iridium spark plugs
big spark plug wires
blaster coil with full msd set up
misc stuff :
new fuel pump
fuel pressure regulator
new set of vaccum hoses
arp bolts throughout the whole engine
i think thats about it, i may have forgot something

I ONLY WISH!! you couldnt find a ZC in the midwest if your life depended on it, and i dont think im paying some coastal company like 600 bucks plus shipping for a motor thats probably been sitting in a japanese junkyard since 1990 :bloated:

Go with b18 man. Civickiller u got a good list but i wouldn't go for the turbo cam. Stock cams are better. Turbo cams makes ur fuel run too lean.

yeah thats my list, i go over that list every night before i go to bed wishing i had those parts. and hoping ill dream about it that night.
idk about stock cams, if your boosting then i would think the stock cams wouldnt have enough lift and duration for a turbo. you need to use all the intake coming in there or else the intake flow will back up, and that would not be good. do you see what i am saying or does this not make sense.
i would say get like a skunk stage 2 cam then. if a turbo cam makes your car run lean then just up the fuel pressure more so you get more fuel

Yeh i see what your saying. My friend and his bro both drive hatchies fully built gsr turbo. I told him why don't u get the skunk turbo cams? He said no the turbo cams makes it run too lean. SO he doesn't want that. He told me that gsr cams works better. He is capable of boosting 22 psi but he has to get it tuned and chip his ecu by hondata or get that new aem management.
