Impala SS 1995 Stolen

My father in law own((ed)) a 1995 Impala SS with 22,000 miles on it. It was stolen from his carport the night before Christmas Eve. We have found no tracks or signs of anyone taking the car. Has anyone else heard of this happening before? It's a shame that people would do such a thing to someone.
