Check Engine light

My check engine light on my '96 sl2 came on today when I was driving at about 70 mph @ about 3000 rpm. First it flashed about 3 times and then a few min. later it flashed about 5 times. I have been having problems with it for a while. It studders when I am accelerating. Anyone have any idea what is going on.

You need to go have the codes read. Some auto parts stores will do it for free.
