The Air bag light on the dash of my 2002 Impala Stays on when the ignition is on. Anyone know what the problem might be? Any suggestions on where to start looking would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Needs to be scanned with a scanner capable of detecting SIRS codes, then repairs or diagnostics can proceed. Normally this is not a " dyer" job.

Look under drivers seat. There is a conector that is from the air bag light. Make sure it is well seated.
It is common for them to get loose.

all the SIRS connectors I've seen are safety wired, wouldnt it be kinda hard for them to get loose?

Exactly. A mechanic took my entire dashboard apart before he found that a pop can was under my seat hitting the sensor. Damn, I hate this car.
