steering wheel lock

I have a 2002 Chevy Impala. When I park my car and turn off the key...I usually turn the steering wheel for it to lock. My car's steering does not lock..ever. Is there a trick that I don't know about?? It seems unsafe..Corry

thats the way they are, no wheel lock. As for feeling unsafe, is that kinda like when the police handcuff you they tell you that "it is for your safety"?

I always thought my car didn't do this. Now i see they don't do it anymore.:sunglasse
