I changed my srs module and the car doesn't start. I have spark and everything and the engine turns over fine. I found out that I was not getting any fuel. My fuel pump was not cutting on and my injectors was not working. So I hot wired my fuel pump directly to my battery and it worked, so I know that my fuel pump isnt bad. My next issue was my injectors. When I try to start my car my MFI relay clicks realy loud, a lot louder than normal. Is my MFI relay bad? If not what can be the problem with my injectors? If anyone can help I will realy be thankful.

hotwiring your fuel pump means it works, but if its not coming on, then there's obviously some electrical problem in the middle. check all ur fuses. i'm not sure if there is a fuel pump relay or not. PM Igovert500. he has plenty of experience with the fuel system on our cars.

A few things come to mind.
First off, I believe I read somewhere that in these cars if you keep cranking, and it isn't starting and is flooding the cylinders, the ECU will cut fuel until it actually starts.
That said, the click click click, sounds would lead me to think it's this very very very common problem (http://www.3si.org/forum/showthread.php?t=241359&highlight=click+start) where the starter wires or contacts are dirty/old, etc. And need to be cleaned, replaced, or do the relay thing in the thread.

However, I find it kinda funny this all happened while you were drilling and working near the SRS unit and all the wiring down there. Perhaps you damaged a wire somewhere in all there???

You also have a 92, is you CAS all good? How about the caps in the ECU? Also any chance you disconnected something and forgot to reconnect it...such as the fuel pump relay in the floor of the trunk?

Thanks for the imformation, but if there was something wrong with the wireson my starter, my car wouldn't turn over right?

True, forgot you mentioned that. Ok, so the problem is fuel, and most likely electrical being that hte pump works.

First off, I read through your previous threads. I assume this is the same problem you had Sept. 23 (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=622670)?

Ok, well the SRS unit died via drill Aug. 31st (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=613643)

But you had it running and racing in the meantime on Sept. 9 (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=617225)

All of this sounding right? A) So what all changed between the race with the vette, and the car not running? What work was done to it (include everything even removing the plenum). Please tell us everything.

B)Have you checked/replaced the ECU caps (http://www.stealth316.com/2-ecmremoval.htm)?

C) Are you getting any CHECK ENGINE LIGHTS?

Please answer all 3 questions
