Right i am very new to all this and am building a SLR i am really happy with the results when i airbrush parts, chassis etc has all been down with airbrush and some patience with regards to masking with really good results.
But i have come across a problem i moved on to the engine which is part of the engine tray :banghead: and i have no idea how i can mask this to paint the enigine (tried for about 2 hours last night and got nowhere fast). I tryied hand painting it last night along with the exhausts to the left and right of the engine and it looks CRAP. I am going to strip it and start again. My question is does any one have any tips on maskings these hard to reach places??
Cheers in advance

Use blu-tack (or another type of play-doug type material) to create 3-d masks.

Hi i'm using both sprayed and handpaint method. For the back of the seat, they are all carbon fibre decals...no masking:icon16:
