im going to lower it as soon as i get some coilovers. i used to have an Escort that i just cut the springs on but i guess Hondas dont fare too well and the camber gets all fuxxed up

you can drop a 4th gen 1.75" with no camber adjustment. anything over 2" and you'll want to correct it (if you care about you tires. to some negative camber rules)
you can get a camber kit for the front. the rear doesn't require it. just get a longer bolt and 2-3 washers. i ended up using the same bolt and adding 1 washer (or maybe it was 2 hella thin ones)

one of the funniest things i have ever seen is this dude in my town with a ford ranger pickup and he cut the springs on it... the front wheels had to be sitting at almost a 45 degree angle

my total cost: about 200 bucks. i got the engine pretty much for free from a dude that was dropping a GSR into his 93 civic. i used my tranny. pretty much the only thing i actually had to buy was some gaskets and small misc. stuff. I'd say it is well worth it. VTEC IS GOD!!!

 can u use a 5th gen tranny(D16z6) in place of a 4th gen tranny??

All D Series blocks and trannys are interchangeable as far as i know

the reason i ask is because all the d16z6 swaps i see, nobody uses the 5th gen trannys. they use the old 4thgen trannys :smoker2:

the reason for that is that the 5th gen trannys use a hydraulic clutch. it is 10x easier to use the 4th gen tranny rather than converting to a hydro clutch. just try to get an Si or ZC tranny. DX is sluggish on acceleration

oh damn i forgot it was hydraulic now it makes sense
i keep readin specs saying the dx and the si tranny have the same ratios
but the final drive is different
