when to use a hotter plug

i was wondering i had a bunch of work done on my engine like the head has been ported polished, shaved, bored etc. when should i use a hotter plug.

Model and year and engine might help.
I would be in favor of going 1 or 2 colder.
Check around some speed shops and see what they do for them or use in a case like that.

and fyi your car is still going to be slow. all you need really was make the stock crank hp and turned that into the fwhp

for that, i would use the stock plug range. when compression is bumped/forced induction is there, colder plug. other then that, stick to stock.
