Hello
I just wanted to share that I was able to fix the flashing OD light and CEL by installing a new VSS. I was able to do this from the pass side (which it's closer to) by removing the tire, rear motor mount, and the Alum mount that bolts to the engine for the motor mount. I think this is easier than removing the exhaust manifold. After I got the VSS installed I took it out for a drive. It shifted better than it has in a long time and the CEL was out at about the two mile marker. If someone tries this, put the speedo cable in the VSS before mounting the VSS (the 95 has a speedo cable). The VSS is held in with one bolt with a 10mm head. There really isn't much room, so I was able to make use of my stubby 1/4 ratchet.
I jacked the engine up with a floor jack with a block of wood under the trannie pan. If I was to do it again, I would remove the nut on the front mount too to give more vertical lift. Be careful how far you lift the engine as to not break any thing.
Regards
Dan

Good Going lesabre97mint
How did you get those engine mounts out, did you use an engine stand like the 3 bar support lift or did you just use jacks under the oil pan????
Thanx
