any install a set of these or the fronts? ZZP website says it give great gains by just doing the front since its so restricted but curious on how much gains you can get? the front looks easy to swap out.

I have not installed a set of these but they will improve exhaust gas flow and improve performance. Headers are better but cost a lot more. Headers give 8 to 10 hp increase you will probably get slightly less with these although just like headers you will need to open the exhaust up including removing the U-bend to get the most gain.

yeah there is no reason to do it unless you do a downpipe too. I already have the UBend delete. doing the powerlog plus downpipe would yield a fair amt of gain i would think

Don't count on it. Even ZZP doesn't publish any possible HP gains for the Powerlogs. Looks more like a gimmick to me and what do you expect for around $200 for both front and rear. Headers are the best way to go if you want a "fair amount of gain". Save your money.

basically all they do is limit KR... that is where you are getting your power gains... you're not really gaining any hp from the PEMs themselves, however if you go from 4 degrees of KR to 0 or 1, well they say every degree of KR is 5hp so if you are losing 3 or 4 degrees of KR, well you do the math, its not rocket sciene... however as far as yielding gains from the PEMs themselves, I'll call bluff on that as well, I will probably end up getting PEMs but just to get rid of my 2 degrees of KR, its cheaper than 1:9 rockers and i don't want a 3" catback, which will sound like utter crap....

KR on a L36 GT? Thats funny. I've got a lightly modified L36 '99 Regal LS in my GM stable and KR is not an issue. I've had Autotap connected to verify one time in 7 years so it is not an issue.
All ZZP claims on a L36 with Powerlogs is minimal torque loss versus headers. It is a worthless mod on a L36.

sorry I'm too use to discussing gtps, didn't even realize you had a GT, no you probably won't see much of a benefit at all from them...

It is not a problem 04GTP-WhatLAG. Don't feel bad. It happens to all of us due to the variances in models. I didn't know if you saw which GP this poster had.
However you could probably be a big help on this thread:

Thanks.

i think this would help somewhat. hell the stock fronts are less than 2" in diameter and the powerlog is 2.25" in diameter. along with a downpipe i would think you would see some type of improvement on a GT.

there would be improvement, it just won't be that noticeable, its like putting on a cold-air intake, yeah its healthier for the engine and there is improvement, just just not ground breaking and you don't actually feel the difference...
