ok i have finaly mind up my mind on what my next car will be it will be either a 350z or a rsx-s but the thing is i want to be able to do stuff to it. ( engine mods + looks) now i can either get a used 350z or a new rsx-s i would like to get as new as possable becouse of the warrenty cause i would like to do the stuff that wont effect the warrenty or even brings up the warrenty first like lambo doors etc. now i do plan on getting a turbo kit for it if i get the rsx-s or/ if i get the 350z bigger turbos for it.

hahah the 350z's dont come stock boosted my friend  so I dont know what bigger turbos your going to get for it. they come stock with a 3.5L v6 pushing 300hp. so you may want to get your facts straight.
But I would go with the Acura RSX-S better styling in my opinon and you dont see as many as them like you see the 350.

I think that you should probably do some research....
...mostly in a dictionary
I suggest reading your post and running through spell check on word before you hit submit reply. It makes it much easier for all of us. Nobody's grammar is completely perfect on here, but being readable is pretty swell.
Now, regarding the 350z and the RSX-S, they are significantly different cars. The RSX-S is to the Dodge SRT4 what the BMW M3 is to the Corvette. Yes its sporty, but it isn't the best performing car you can get in the price range because you are also paying for Acura luxury. It has 200hp and FWD which is ok for beating MX-5s and Civics, but it would probably get beaten by the likes of the VW GTI, Cobalt SS, SRT-4, and on up. The 350z on the other hand is RWD, has 300hp (50% more), and about twice the torque. In terms of performance, the 350z will beat the RSX in just about any form of competition. It shouldn't even be a contest. In fact, the 350z is quicker then pretty much every car in the price range on a track as shown in the most recent C&D when it beat a Evo MR, Mustang GT, RX-8, Charger SRT8, and came reasonably close to the Shelby GT500 around VIR.
The RSX-S probably has an edge on reliability and will be easier to get at a lower price, but the 350z is a much better sports car.

^ you would think that, but my friend has an rsx-s and has beaten a 350z, albeit from a roll, he hasn't had a chance to race from a dig. It has a nice interior, and the modding is good up to a point, when you have to start putting together some big bucks for turbo's and things of that nature. I would say test drive both and come back to us.

i could have sworn that it was tt but maybe it might have helped if i read about besides on forums.
which would be easyer to be modifed? i want to add a turbo kit to it and i also saw online that there is an rsx-s with 450 hp running on stock internals, which means the cost of modefeding (sp) it will be less.
but yea i think i need to test drive them too.

you could be thinking of the 300zx tt from the late 80s, early 90s. now that car was tt and a damn fine car with over 300hp. id pick the z over the rsx because imo it is better in every way, power, handling, looks.
as far as modding, the z will own the rsx once again. the rsx isnt particularly responsive to mods until you go turbo and even then you can run high boost cause the engine is already high comp. the guy with 450hp on a stock rsx either doesnt drive it much or is fixing to blow his engine up real soon. there was a car and driver article where a bunch of magazines were competing to build the best rsx for a certain amount of money. one magazine came in with a 500hp rsx and blew the engine on their 1st run on the track. car and drivers 270ish hp rsx won the competition.
i read that recent c&d article just a couple days ago dinan, good article too. i was suprised the z beat the evo really, i think if the track was less straight aways the z would have took the shelby as well. i was also suprised the cobalt ss beat the mustang around the track, especially on this higher speed track.

Also, you can't buy a new RSX. They stopped making them in 05 or 06 if I am not mistaken.

Regarding the Cobalt SS beating the mustang, I was suprised as well. Convention would say the more powerful rwd car should win, but I guess not. The Mustang is in dire need of a better suspension. Mustang owners' self esteem must be as low as the torque figures on the Civic Si.
I'm pretty sure you can still get new RSXs, but not for much longer.

They discontinued the RSX for 2007 so '06 would be the newest you can buy.

now is there any really differents between all 4 different 350z's i saw a base 04 one for 20k with 12k miles on it and it is the blue color which i like. and i do want to do stuff to do it.

The Track and Grand Touring versions get bigger breaks, the base version doesn't get a LSD or traction control, the base version and the enthusiast versions don't get VDC. Automatic transmission versions get 287hp instead of 300hp, but they get a tad more torque. Track and GT get different wheels, and aerodynamics. Touring and GT versions get better sound systems.

what about an 04 srt-4
yea, that would be the cheapest option. id take an srt over an rsx, cause it has better preformance and looks (imo), but not a 350z. the only thing id worry about is how reliable its gonna be, most people who buy the srt-4 beat the shit out of them.

the one i found was still low miles (3k) and besides mopar parts are cheaper then nismos are for the z. also the z is still kinda of expensive for me to do stuff to and still be able to pay it off.

^ read these threads regarding the SRT4, they arn't that well liked by many in the car community.
From a pure performance standpoint they are better then the RSX-S but not as good as the 350z, but as far as I'm concerned this is where its advantage ends. It has that nice stock turbocharger that is pretty easily tuned, but you are dealing with a FWD car, so torque-steer will become a problem fairly quickly. Stock v. stock v. stock, the SRT4 has the worst ride of the three as a daily driver, add torque-steer to the equation and bad goes to worse. I assume that you want to use this car as a daily driver and not just a race car. From a handling perspective, most would say that RWD > FWD 9 times out of 10. The interior of the SRT-4 is terrible compared to the Z and the RSX-S. Finally, the exterior... it good at getting the attention of guys that know a thing or two about cars, but if you are at all interested in attracting girls (which I assume you are) they won't be able to tell the difference between a SRT-4 and any other Neon. The RSX-S and 350z look WAY better then the SRT-4.

Let me ask how you went from asking 350z or RX-8 to 350z or RSX? There is really not too much of a comparo between them. You ever thought of getting a 1.8t GTI? those are fun cars with decent power that take very well to mods and it has very good handling right out of the factory. I'd prefer the GTI to the SRT-4 mainly cause I I have seen and competed with both at autocross events and the GTI eats the SRT alive, my jetta eats both though (that's besides the point, just wanted to mention it)
And regarding the RSX type S I would rather get a new civic SI, they cost less and you get almost Identical performance to the type S, which is one reason they stopped production of the RSX.

if you like the srt-4 you might consider a cobalt ss. it got a better lap time in the latest car and driver than the miata, civic si, gti, and mustang gt. and personally i think they are pretty sharp.

263hp 6 speed, great handling, 1/4 in less than 14.4, I'm sure it can easily get into the 13's. And it costs less than 24k for the base model.
