race with integra

so we were talking about cars today and this dude i know said he could beat me in his integra. its about a 2000, with the b18 engine and a 5 speed. ( the b18 is a 1.8 liter 140hp engine, cause its not a gsr.) BTW i have a 2000 impala ls w/ the 3.8, and i think i would toast his car. what do you guys think?

No other mods done to his car?
If its stock vs stock then I think it will be close, he has about 700lbs on you so they will make a little bit of a difference.

I think the impala would win, at least from my driving experience. But you'd have to check the specks. I know imp ls's hit 60 btwn 7.3-7.7 sec (as various tests have various results), but no clue on acura. I've driven each and the imp def. feels much more powerful (as it certainly is).

a 1.8 L that makes 140 hp ? Did he tell you that or have you seen that in print. Does this car have a turbo or super charger ? The 3.8 L Impala only makes 200 hp aprox.

he didnt tell me, i know how much hp it has. no its stock except hes got a fart can and a lame body kit

oh yeah he's getting the HP from his big muffler and the wing on the back. My opinion is if you can get somewhere 1/4 + miles, I think your top end will walk all over him, or it will be close still ahead. Is his automatic or manual ?
