What all do i need to put a 16g turbo in my 1990 eclipse GST (stock turbo 14g) Besides the turbo I need help. how much hp would that gain on my eclipse

fuel pump, fuel injectors, a way to control the injectors (safc2 dsmlink), boost controller, boost gauge thats about it for the 1g your kinda lucky.

how much bigger is a 16g than a 14g? boost difference? hp difference

It's a much bigger turbo, and your power goals will depend on your mods and how much boost you want to run.

you said its a direct bolt on to a car like mine you didnt mention anything about new injectors puel pump ect.

It is a direct bolt-on in the sense that you don't need a J pipe, to switch your o2 housing nor your exhaust manifold get what I'm saying. Theres no point to putting on the 16g unless you change the things i mentioned earlier or you will make no more power, you can't just throw on a bigger turbo and expect it to work at full boost without supporting it.

I was thinking about another turbo for my car too a 98 gsx. Either the t28, or the 16g. I like the fact with the t28 its direct bolt on but the 16g seems easy enough. Is the SAFC really necessary or could u get away with all the other upgrades like injectors fuel pump etc, without it. My goal is close to 300 hp and plan to run a safe 15-16 psi on the boost. What sounds like the best turbo. Im looking for a quick car but not a ungodly fast 10 sec car either.
