2001 Saturn SL Idle problems

Every once in a while the car will idle at are around 2000 rpm's (for extended amount of time). The only way so far I have been able to reset its idle position is to turn off the car, and turn it back on.

So the history:
I bought this car from my dad when he got a new one and everything has gone well till now. He has told me before of this problem but the Saturn dealership said they replaced the throttle body. (After many tries)
I read on this forum of some suggestions and I gave one a try. I cleaned out the TB and lubed the return spring (with the intake hose off but the TB still assembled). Seemed to fix the problem until a couple of days later (today) I was driving and it did it again, so I parked the car and popped the hood with it still running to see if it really was the throttle that is sticking. The butterfly valve was closed all the way (I check with my finger by pressing on the return spring) and even reved it a little to make sure.

So I guess my question is could it still be the TB and I just need to take it apart fully, or could it possible be a sensor or something related to the computer?
Sorry I am new to the forum and just know the basics of the car. Any help would be greatly appreciated :grinyes:

the IAC(idle air control solenoid) may be stuck, and can be cleaned by spraying carb and choke cleaner into the hole below the thottle plate inside the TB.

or the later SOHC had problems with leaking intake manifold gaskets, spraying carb and choke cleaner near the number 1 runner will confirm this.
