1997 SC2 Vibration

Hi, I’m considering buying a 1997 Saturn SC2, 1.9 L4 engine, that has 116,000 miles on it, for my daughter to drive to school and work. There are a few minor things wrong with but one thing I notice which may stop me from buying the car is at idle in park or drive with the brake on, the vibration and noise in the interior. Is this normal for Saturn’s and if so can it be eliminated?

it sounds like a bad mount. are you buying it from a dealer or from some guy? cause if it is a dealer tell them you want that fixed then you will buy it.
