 Hi I'm new to this forum, I drive a 89 Honda Civic DX HB, its still all stock. But I got a Janspeed universal muffler(got off of Ebay) I'm gonna put on it, is a 2.25in pipe a good size or should i go to a 2.5 in exhaust pipe? But anyways My car is throwing a Code 4 crank angle sensor and this really sucks cause when the chek engine light comes on I can't rev past 4000rpm and my car losses a lot of power. Does any one know how to fix this I'm totaly stumped:confused: :help:

You'll probably want to check the connection to, or replace the crank angle sensor.

I had that problem with my Jeep Cherokee, and it was just the connection... I would certainly check that before replacing your dizzy...

where are the wires to tap into the CKP from the ecu?
I did a zc sohc swap and cannot find the wires // all instructions have me lost. I'm using DX distributor does that matter??

UM YES!!!
The dx distributor is for DPFI and didnt you convert to MPFI. You have to get the sohc zc or a d16a6 distributor(obd0) for it to work!

Oh and please dont bring 2.5+ yr old posts back, just make a new topic

I did create a new post but then found this one on the search function and had a new idea because I am really frustrated at the wiring//some say it doesn't matter i just have to find the wires to do it and now i'm hearing i need different dist entirely so the new dist will have the blu/grn an blu/yel wires to connect to from my c1 and c2 wires i ran??

yes, a dx distributor lacks 2 wires. A mpfi distributor has 2 more wires. 2 more wires 2 more fuel injectors.
