99 Transmission work

Well, I finally had some time to work on my transmission. I did some research and my problem is pointing to the valvebody. I was having 1-2 shift problems (soft, hard, and other; and yes I checked the wiring before I did this). I removed the valve body, no problem, without dropping the transmission. I did all the work from under the hood. While briefly testing, I did come across a sticky valve, which was the whole reason I'm doing this. I'll have to take some pics of the work I do on the valvebody.

Yup, I think that it might have took a bit longer the way I did it, but there was alot more room. I removed that windshield wiper assembly (I think it's called the cowl), airbox, battery, and battery holder, and disconnected all the trans plugs and anything else in the way. Then, I used a jack (with some wood) to jack up the transmission, and removed that trans bracket that was blocking the side pan. Took the side pan bolts off, took it out, then unbolted the pump assembly and valve body. There were some bolts that had to stay in otherwise the pump assem and the valve body would separate (probably a bad thing to do). After getting all the bolts out, it came right out. Now, I'm just waiting for the tool to hopefully fix this problem.

While you are in that area, I strongly recommend you rebuild the 1 - 2 servo on rear of tranny.

Already did that, got the revised parts also. Only problem I have is the new spring is much bigger and is difficult to get in and probably impossible to get out without moving things around.
