double clutching is most important if you want to win a race. because pressing the clutch in a bunch of times and moving the shifter around is actually faster than letting the syncros do their job. also you get +5 exp for each double clutching.

Go into your User CP, then click Edit Options. You will see several sections. Under the Messaging and Notification section there is a dropbox selection for Default Thread Subscription Mode. Select Do not subscribe. Thats what I did so I don't get stupid emails for the hundreds of threads I've posted in. Then after you Save your changes, go check in the List Subscriptions section on the left side menu. If it lists this thread in there then just remove it from your list and you should be set.

my dad has a 71 mach 1 with a built 351 windsor, with heads,high rise intake and holley 4 barrel carb with some other mods, and i took my dads car in my 160hp 1g eclipse n/t 4g63 with heavy mods, also the mach1's only top out at 90mph, when my dads old v8 hits anything above 4500rpm he loses power.

So we are looking at just about 200 whp for the 2v (which refers to the number of venturi in the carb, or put simply a 2barrel carb and low compression), and a whopping 240 ish whp for the 4v(AKA 4 barrel with higher compression which accounts for the hp difference ;) ).

Ford didn't put out four valve fucking heads on a cleveland fucktard. 2V and 4V were for the intakes, You could get a four barrel or a 2 barrel from the factory and the intakes are different from each other. Venturi are what are found in carburetors, you know those things that used sit on top of the intake. You are always in the middle of bullshit misinformation like this. I give a shit about a ford, but I have worked on them for about 16 years and if you had a clue about the stuff you just googled for the "benefit" of the original poster you would have known what the V stood for. :rolleyes: So you can keep your insults and your misinformation to yourself. As I said before, the 2v heads are lower compression and were saddled with a lousy 2 barrel carb. from the factory. The 4v heads were a little higher compression and came with the 4 barrel carb. Obviously you could put either head on the motor, but you can't put a 2v carb on a 4v carb. mani. without an adapter. V=venturi, the airhorn inside the carb with a butterfly to meter the air entering the engine. This is totally useless information to all us DSMers. All you need to know is that a GSX with a 16g and supporting mods would bury an un/lightly modded Mach1. The end.
