I've just turned 27, and judging by the poll results I'm middle-aged already!

Now where did I leave my pipe and slippers...? :D

Yup, that's me :hehehe:

Actually I found this forum by tracing back a surge of hits on some of my pages :p

Only bad thing: maintaining the site keeps me from making kits...

Best,

Come on man, you're not alone :D Like some one said here earlier, we have more rare and unbuild kits in our own stocks then some hobby shops have! :finger:

I just skewed your averages. Add one more to the "over 41" column. 42 on next Monday...hey, Veyron! Two more months and you catch up! I was tuning a Honda Civic 1300DX...in 1980. When there were no available hop-up parts! That's why I got a '74 RX-4 to have a bit of fun with...and oh, it was fun! Deadly to many a V8.

I'm surprised how many are in the 13-20 bracket. And they said modeling was dead! This board represents the subculture that model companies are oblivious to. The hobby would be well sustained if the kit makers had enough sense to market to the population of AF. Anybody listening?

Feel free to forward our address to R/M and AMT and whoever else... ;) Why let the Japanese take all our money?

Depending on age, I hope your hand-eye coordination is good. I'd hate to be reading about you in many many years about how you thought you were cutting the model and really cutting your fingers:D !!

Hey mid 30s isn't that old. That just means they have had a long lived hobby of car modeling. I guess you can consider mid 30s to be old since quite a few of you guys are only half their age.

me too, i'm only 17, but 18 in late october.
