yeah its glued but its pretty thick on there. you have to remove the weather stripping then get a glass removal tool that cuts the glue.at least thats how most windows work, not sure on hatches tho

You can go get a removal tool(cold knife, i believe is the name of it), which if your not careful, you might as well just take a baseball bat to it because it can break it. Or take the weather stripping out and get some piano wire, run it through the glue, wrap each end around a screwdriver and start sawing, works pretty good in the hot weather, thats how we remove them at the salvage yard.

I was at a lack of wire one day..took me for frikkin ever to get the lower glass out of a hatch, and I was using everything I had...those little windows are pretty damn strong, and flex alot! makes me wonder why mine shattered so damn easy..

When I removed the glass from my 88 wagovan I used a razor blade cutter tool and a steak knife, lol. Took a while but it came out unscathed and in one piece.

Same, I used a razor knife, regular knife, part of a hacksaw, several screwdrivers and a piece of metal I found in the junkyard, needles to say, the rubber was shot.

I will have a pro come and remove the scratched rear window of my other 88 wagon and I can install the window myself. I didnt care about the parts car window frame so the scratches and crap dont bother me. Dont want to scratch the good one up though.
