I have a 98 windstar and just had the speed sensor replaced. The mechanic said he scanned it and gave me the codes but i dont know what any of them mean. They were p0113,p1538,p1450,p1451,p1513,p0460.Sounds like alot of codes to me.Are they expensive to fix and need to be done right away? Thanks. 113 - Intake air temperature circuit high input
460- Fuel level sensor circuit malfunction
1450 - Unable to bleed up fuel tank vacuum
1451 - Evaporative emmission control system vent control circuit
1513 - Intake manifold runner control stuck closed (Bank 2)
1538 - Intake manifold runner control stuck open (Bank 2)
Does seem like a number of codes. I have seen the 113 code before on an explorer where we simply forgot to re-attach the connector to the intake air temp sensor. Yours should be located on the "accordion" shaped intake air hose to the throttle body. Might check that. The fuel and evaporative emmission codes I have not dealt with. As for the intake manifold runner controls, if you search this forum for IMRC you will see many posts explaining their function and the controls, and fixes for them.
Good luck, and let us know what you find/do.
